[Codelco: Company to Focus on Public-Private Partnerships to Boost Copper and Lithium Production]The CFO of Codelco stated that the company will focus on public-private partnerships to increase copper and lithium production. Agreements with private companies will bring additional financing and resources to diversify risks. The partnerships aim to expand production sources but will not include current mining projects.

[CAAM: Auto Production and Sales in May Achieve Double-Digit Growth YoY]Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) showed that in May 2025, China's auto production and sales reached 2.649 million units and 2.686 million units, respectively, up 1.1% MoM and 3.7% MoM, and up 11.6% YoY and 11.2% YoY. From January to May, auto production and sales totaled 12.826 million units and 12.748 million units, respectively, up 12.7% YoY and 10.9% YoY. For new energy vehicles (NEVs), production and sales in May reached 1.27 million units and 1.307 million units, respectively, up 35% YoY and 36.9% YoY, with NEV sales accounting for 48.7% of total new vehicle sales. From January to May, NEV production and sales totaled 5.699 million units and 5.608 million units, respectively, up 45.2% YoY and 44% YoY. In terms of exports, China exported 551,000 vehicles in May, up 6.6% MoM and 14.5% YoY. From January to May, total vehicle exports reached 2.49 million units, up 7.9% YoY. (Financial Link)

[China's Power Battery Installations Reach 57.1 GWh in May, Up 43.1% YoY]Data released by the China Industrial Innovation Alliance for the Electric Vehicle Industry (CAAM-EV) showed that in May, China's power battery installations reached 57.1 GWh, up 5.5% MoM and 43.1% YoY. Ternary battery installations accounted for 10.5 GWh, or 18.4% of total installations, up 13.1% MoM and 1.6% YoY. LFP battery installations accounted for 46.5 GWh, or 81.6% of total installations, up 3.9% MoM and 57.7% YoY. From January to May, cumulative power battery installations reached 241.4 GWh, up 50.4% YoY. Ternary battery installations totaled 44.8 GWh, or 18.6% of total installations, down 12.4% YoY. [CITIC Securities: Responding to Policies, the Automotive Industry Enters a New Phase of High-Quality Development] CITIC Securities' research report pointed out that on June 10, multiple automakers, including GAC, Dongfeng, Seres, Geely, and BYD, responded to the State Council's "Regulation on Ensuring Payments to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" and the CAAM's initiative, committing to unify supplier payment terms to within 60 days to accelerate capital turnover in the industry chain and ensure supply chain stability. Previously, the procurement payment terms of large automakers generally exceeded 60 days, exacerbating the risks of capacity expansion and price wars. This move not only responds to the policies but will also fundamentally promote high-quality development in the automotive industry and drive positive changes in the industry chain.

[Kaizhong Precision: Received Initial Project Designation Notice from a Global Leading New Energy Power Battery Producer] Kaizhong Precision (002823.SZ) announced that it has recently received an initial project designation notice from a global leading new energy power battery producer. The company has successfully entered its supply chain to provide busbar products for new energy vehicle power battery packs, with an estimated life cycle sales amount of approximately 700 million yuan. Mass production is planned to commence at the end of 2025. This project designation notice will have a positive impact on the company's future continuous growth in its main business.
